Risk assessment

Risk
Prevention
Lighting could hit someone on the head as they are on the ceiling.
Give everyone warnings and lift the lights up so no one hits their head.
Lights could get too hot and catch on fire.
Make sure lights aren’t covered and don’t use them for too prolonged a period.
Someone could burn themselves on the lights as they get really hot.
Warn people that they will be hot so not to touch them and make sure that no one gets too close to the actual lights.
Could fall when turning on the lights.
Stabilise what they are using to get high up to turn the lights on.
Someone could trip on the wires on the floor.
Make sure wires are out of the way, tape them down and warn people that there may be wires so to be careful.
Shot in a dark room so people could walk into things or trip over objects.
Make sure there is still a dim light so people could see objects and allow people to look at the layout of the room before they enter in the dark.
