Give everyone warnings and lift the lights up so no one hits their

Someone could burn themselves on the lights as they get really hot. | 
Warn people that they will be hot so not to touch them and make sure
  that no one gets too close to the actual lights. |

Could fall when turning on the lights. | 
Stabilise what they are using to get high up to turn the lights on. |

Someone could trip on the wires on the floor. | 
Make sure wires are out of the way, tape them down and warn people
  that there may be wires so to be careful. |

Shot in a dark room so people could walk into things or trip over
  objects. | 
Make sure there is still a dim light so people could see objects and
  allow people to look at the layout of the room before they enter in the dark. |
